남경필 교수입니다.

저는 서울대학교 건설환경도시공학부에서 토양 및 지하수 오염의 거동과 위해성평가, 그리고 생태공학적 복원기술을 연구하고 있습니다.

저를 만나는 두 가지 방법이 있습니다.

실제 사람 전문가를 디지털로 그대로 복제한 것을  말합니다.

그 사람의 신원 정보, 개인적인 취향이나 성격, 전문 지식 등을 깊이있게 학습한 인공지능(AI)이 그 사람을 닮은 모습과 지식으로 당신과 대화를 하는 것입니다.

 

저는 서울대학교 건설환경공학부에서 토양 및 지하수 오염, 위해성평가, 그리고 생태공학적 복원기술을 연구하고 있는 남경필입니다.


서울대학교에서 동물자원학을 전공하고, 유전공학 협동과정에서 석사학위를 취득한 후, 미국 코넬대학교에서 환경독성학 박사학위를 받았습니다. 박사 과정에서는 “유기물과 나노기공이 토양 내 페난트렌의 생물학적 이용성과 격리에 미치는 영향”을 주제로 연구했습니다.

귀국 후 서울대학교에 부임한 이래, 저는 지난 20여 년간 토양과 지하수 환경에서의 오염물질 거동, 중금속 및 유기오염물질의 생물학적 안정화, 위해성 기반의 정화기술 개발에 매진해 왔습니다.


특히 환경부 GAIA Project 연구단장으로서 국가 토양·지하수 오염관리 기술의 체계적 발전을 주도하였고, 환경정화기술 및 위해성평가연구센터를 설립하여 학문과 실무를 잇는 연구 생태계를 구축하였습니다.

현재는 철산화물의 재합성 반응을 활용한 오염토양 정화기술, Redox 반응 기반 중금속 제거 기작, 그리고 생물학적 위해성평가를 통한 토양 복원 전략 개발을 중심으로 연구를 이어가고 있습니다.


또한 ‘토양환경생태공학’과 ‘토양오염 및 위해성평가’ 등의 강의를 통해 학생들에게 과학적 이해와 실무적 감각을 함께 교육하고 있습니다.
